Description
This project is a creative and ambitious endeavor that has the potential to engage participants on multiple levels—intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. By merging classical themes with innovative practices, it offers a fresh perspective on timeless human dilemmas, making it both a meaningful and enriching experience. The book consists of two parts. The first part includes four «case studies» that explore the possible combinations of music, mathematics and geometry and their transformation into the form of a ritual. The second part deals with Ancient Greek tragedy as a dynamic field and its mathematical and geometrical dimensions, which can generate different forms of rituals based on the original text. The form of ritual has been selected for two main reasons. The first reason has to do with the fact that it unites different aspects of human expression such as speech, gestures, dance, music etc and it is a shared experience among those involved in it. The second reason is because it creates a profound emotional and psychological impact on the participants while dealing with the core themes of each tragedy such as love, loss, death etc.The book consists of two parts.
